What is your Fulfillment Recipe?

Hi Love Bombers!  This past week I had an awesome experience getting to host the local Napa You Matter Meetup Chapter, and after the event, a woman approached me to ask how in the world I keep staying dedicated to continue building this Love Bomb movement day after day after day.

She got me really pondering how to answer her, and, I realized, there is a magic formula for me of knowing what it is that fulfills me, combined with doing the things that help me create those moments.  Since defining success in this way, vs. a random "must get big audiences," "must get lots of likes," "must gain massive approval" goal that leads, well, mainly to that aching feeling of never succeeding.

Here I spell out some ideas for anchoring into fulfillment, as I make my way towards designing a more in depth free online course!

Here is to wishing you massive fulfillment in your Love Bomber efforts!

Big Love,

Rhea

P.S.  Did you know that we are actually expanding into cities as we speak with the You Matter Meetups?  It is my mission that everyone reading this blog will have a spot to go with other like minded women.  Okay, sorry, for you men, someday we'll be able to build your chapters too!  Meanwhile I'm happy to serve you here as I know these topics are major relevant for you too.

Subscribe to Love Bombers

Meg’s Love Bomber work is a combination paramedic, paramedic instructor, and take life by the hands optimistic adventure seeker.  She inspires people to live each day to the fullest, and, she’s overcome some challenges in the pursuit of a full life.  She has a condition called “Achalasia” and has grown up with a shorter arm than most, leading her to look a little different than the norm.  She begins by sharing about how she learned as a kid to help disarm others confusion or discomfort with humor.

She goes on to share how she intentionally brings an extra touch of love to her job as paramedic, helping people while they are having very, very bad days.  Her ability to care for others in her environment is inspiring, coupled with her own dedication to living an "alive' life of adventure.

I hope this adventure inspires anyone needing a lift off of the rut and the couch to get on out there and try.

Finding and Giving Your Love Bomb, With Becky Diel, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

Subscribe to Love Bombers

In this podcast I get the pleasure of interviewing my own lactation consultant, Becky Diel.  She was like an angel to me in the days following the birth of my son when this were going haywire with painful nursing and mastitis.  Her presence completely shifted me and my family back into the sweet love bubble trust of the newborn adjustment phase and her continued support was like an anchor throughout.

She has been around birth and moms for over 18 years with experience supporting moms and babies in scenarios ranging from straight forward homebirths to hospital births to complicated births and high acuity hospitals.  She loves working with families and helping moms to get started on their breastfeeding adventure.

In this interview we talk about her journey into landing on this path of service, the angels who helped get her where she is today, and how she uses the power of listening to land fully into the moment in support of moms and babies.

She shares about her vision for how happy breastfeeding moms and babies contributes to a more sustainable and happier world.

She will inspire and calm you at the same time!

To connect directly with Becky please email her at BeckyDielIBCLC@gmail.com

If you are in the Napa area please join us for our next "New Mommy Love" event to receive a free consult with Becky on reclined nursing (we welcome pre and post-natal mommas to come in, be supported, and learn).  Go to blossomlife.com to see when the next event is.

The Ethical and Fulfilling Business of Service

Subscribe to Love Bombers

In this episode of Love Bombers I speak with my own business coach Shawn Dill about the business of service.  As a Love Bomber myself I reached a point in my life where I had to choose that in order to keep going with my passionate hobby of making media, like the film Love Bomb, and other courses to uplift other people's lives, I would have to start making it a business in order to have the time and resources I spend on it also add value to my family.  I hired Shawn to help me look at this hobby and help me to align it so that I could turn it into a business where my authenticity, passion for service, and love for others was also aligned with the needs and values of enough people that I could earn money for my family in exchange.  Today Shawn speaks about the principles he uses to help me while answering pertinent questions from other Love Bombers wanting to be in the ethical and fulfilling business of service.

During the episode Shawn also references the book that has helped me, Book Yourself Solid.

What is responsible service? An International Inquiry

What is responsible service? An International Inquiry

There were many questions for me that went into creating the film Love Bomb when it came to the potential to inspire thousands of people into international service.  I believe that doing service on an international level brings with it many questions in order to participate in a way that is truly beneficial to everyone involved.  This is a short piece beginning the inquiry into this very complicated topic.

Do You Aspire to Serve? Do You Know a Teen Who Does Too?

Do You Aspire to Serve? Do You Know a Teen Who Does Too?

Do you have a dream of service but don't know where to start?

Today I am interviewing a local leader in teen service about her journey from aspiration to action, Jeni Olsen.  (Check out her local chapter of Roots & Shoots here in Napa, California right here).  She is in preparation for a  March 30-April 3 2015 teen service trip to Haiti with the organization Soles 4 Souls, and there is still an opportunity for a few more teens to participate.

14 Life Lessons From Peru (How To Serve Your Heart Out)

Hi There, it's Rhea here.  I took a moment to write a bit about life lessons learned on our recent service trip to Peru (many of you joined us for the Facebook Photo Journal Here!).  I just revisited the blog post that I had prepared to post before the Napa Earthquake sidetracked my ability to get back to it.  It is amazing to me how these 14 Life Lessons have been totally applicable and in action for me and my community in the past week!  I think life wants me to get these down!!

Here is the blog, written three days prior to the quake:

Stickers, Service, & Kids Love Bomb Project? A Mini-Summer Lesson!

stickers

Hi There!

Some of you have seen the film Love Bomb and others are still waiting for the chance,...once you do you will see that part of our story is that we collaborate with an elementary school to have the kids draw little love bomb stickers that we bring with us to gift to the children that we see there.

Well, this year we are going during summer vacation,...so kids are out of school!

We are looking to gather 100+ stickers to bring with us and we'll need them in hand by Wednesday, July 30!

This is where you and your kids come in!

Would you like to have your kids do a little summer sticker service lesson?

Here is what you'll need:

1.  Blank stickers (If you can't find blanks, printer labels will do just fine that you cut to separate for us!)

2.  Coloring pens, crayons, or pencils

3.  Envelope and stamp to send 'em to us!

Here is the lesson:

Ask your kids to think of something nice that will "brighten someone's day" that they can draw or write on a sticker that a child in Peru will enjoy.  In years past the kids have received these stickers like little "collectors items" that they put in special places.  It becomes a fun game and sweet exchange.

Here are some more examples:

We will bring the stickers with us and take as many photos as we can of children with the stickers to post in a follow up blog right here for you to share with your kid's!

It's a sweet little late-summer service project.

Are you in?  Awesome!

Please send the stickers to arrive by Wednesday, July 30 to:

Blossom Chiropractic Studio, 1834 First St., Suite 3, Napa, CA 94559

Thank you for playing!

Big Love, Rhea

Host Highlight: Karen Shuffler, Asheville Premier

Hi, It's Rhea here, with another Love Bomb screening host highlight.  I am learning from every person who chooses to host a theatrical screening in their community.  This hostess was a special surprise:  my sister's mother-in-law, Karen Shuffler.  In the beginning I assumed that the vast majority of screenings would be hosted by chiropractors who would have built in reach for their events.  It has been a wonderful surprise to me that the first 3 Tugg screenings out of the gate have been hosted by non-chiropractors.

It was my mission when making the film to tell a story about transformation through love that resonates with a broad audience.  I am lit up seeing that it is hitting that mark and inspiring people in all walks of life to "drop a love bomb"!

This is an interview between me and Karen about her experience of dropping the Love Bomb on Asheville through a theatrical screening:
