The Power of an Empowered Community

It's Rhea here and this week I'm thinking a lot about the power of Faith in oneself, and in another human being.  We've been focusing on it as facilitators in our My Love Bomb  Program facilitator training.

It is incredible to me how much more I can shine in the light of faith from another person, than in the shadow of doubt.

I find this to be powerful both one on one with others in my life, as well as in community.

I am very excited to be able to engage more in community with YOU, my virtual community with an upcoming launch of the "You Matter International" FB Group.  I have some fun invitations planned for a summer launch where I can begin to get more into circle with those of you engaged right here!

Stay tuned for a June launch.

Meanwhile, have faith, in yourself, and someone else.  Sometimes this requires forgiveness, and discernment, and yet even within that paradox, faith heals.

Love, Rhea

Yay! My life/body/relationship/friendship is falling apart! (Said nobody, ever.)

Hi There!

It's Rhea here with this week's Love Bombers podcast episode.  Today I'm speaking after a re-inspiration from the review of a talk that I gave back in 2013 at The Wave, a large chiropractic event.

You can actually watch it right here (note the start gives a vision of where I initially set out to go with the film, and while Oscors didn't end up our path, lol, all of that determination certainly led me here to the My Love Bomb path and what an inspiring discovery it continues to be!)

The primary theme is, what happens when something in our life feels like it is falling apart?  How can we find our ground, and then choose a viewpoint that will assist us in building the next steps of our lives?

"Every act of creation is first of all an act of destruction." -Pablo Picasso (as seen on Restoration Hardware's construction site!).

Wishing everyone a huge dose of springtime inspiration for the budding next chapters of your lives, no matter what reorganization might be occurring!

Big Love,

Dr. Rhea Zimmerman Komarek

After Winter Will Come Spring, Part 2

Hi There,

Rhea here with a continuation on a theme of looking at the patterns of the universe to bring about more comfort and clarity to our every day lives.  It is so easy to get stuck, scattered and lost in the microcosm of life's events with the myriad flavors of emotions brought about.  Especially in the midst of winter and holiday time.

In Part 2 I bring us from looking at the rhythmic nature of the seasons and their effect on our lives and bodies, and we look at how we can participate in bringing about, well, an awesome spring.

It's about nourishment.  Nourishment physically, emotionally, and that deep deep soul stirring nourishment.

You can watch listen right here:

Is it all resonating deeply?  Perhaps you are ready for more.  The My Love Bomb Program, a full two month immersion into building your body and life to reflect love, is starting in February of 2017 and registration is now open for participants, and, future facilitators.

After Winter Will Come Spring, Part 1

Hi There,

The looking to nature theme continues with this one as I take a look at our placement in life in relationship to the rhythm of the seasons, both in a "where we are in life right now" feeling as well as a way of orienting to the phenomenon of "winter", "spring", "summer", and "fall" in our own lives and bodies.

Next week I will be back with Part 2, as we take a look at how we can steer the tone of the budding new season in our lives and bodies by creating an environment of nourishment for our changing lives and bodies to grow into.

Big Love!

Dr. Rhea

Chaos is Transformation

Have you ever felt like you landed on a plateau of healing, took a deep breath and said, "thank god that is over with" only to find yourself catapulted into the next feeling of life chaos?

Well, in this podcast I chat about the phenomenon of chaos, or, life foundation change, as a part of the transformation growth process.

Of course, life chaos does not always mean growth process, it can simply mean chaotic habits, but it can also be a sign when life moves from stable to chaotic to stable to chaotic that there is growth happening, or, in other words, the natural process of change and evolution.

I feel we are experiencing this both globally and individually, and, find it valuable, healing, harmonizing, and supportive to move out of isolation and into community as we move through this time both as a humanity and as individuals.

Take a listen and, if you feel called to participate with me as a leader in this evolution, I would love to talk!  You can email me at lovebombthemovie@gmail.com to see if becoming a My Love Bomb Facilitator in 2017 might be your next Love Bomb.

Hi!  This is one video in a series of videos that were recorded live on Facebook giving tips and ideas inspired by benefits of the My Love Bomb Program.  Here I talk about that process we go through from the broken down moments of our lives, through healing, into the next steps called broken open.

This is perfect for someone needing a little bit of a hug on the path of healing and life transformation.

Last week's podcast broad me to laughter, and this week's brought me to tears.  It's essentially like having a service trip experience right from my home as the depth and breadth of human experience through story sweeps through my heart.

Tiffany Johnson shares about her journey from her career as a professional singer and performer to a volunteer and eventually full time employee of Soles4Souls.  Her story is rich in what happens when we're willing to listen to the innate calling of our soul, as well as the wisdom of what life itself is telling us through the circumstances that point us in a particular direction.

Speaking to her was so poignant for and she shares a story of a woman's life that touched her deeply in Honduras.  She brought me to tears, both in the way that her relationship with the woman was able to ultimately help her, and the plight of so many women around the world who suffer for opportunities like we have so readily available to us in the United States with birth control options as well as the support needed in the case of unwanted pregnancies that are out of the control of the women themselves.  You will hear us talk about how this woman chose tubal ligation that was being offered to her in the village, but what you won't hear is why this is so important.  After we finished our conversation in record mode I brought up a story about a woman I have cared for in poverty that needed this option due to rape that was occurring.  This is when she shared that the woman in her story needed this option because her husband was hiding her birth control and so she kept getting unwanted pregnancies.

This conversation reminds me of the absolute heart wrenching at times complexity of the service that we do and what happens when we are willing to open our eyes to the depth of challenges of those around us.  It is also the power of being willing to do so, as, we might not have the solution, but we might know someone who does.  Truly, deeply, we never know how far reaching something we say or do for another person will ultimately change their lives.

She also reminds me of simply how powerful it is to answer the calling to help right now, because one hand held out leads to seeing more, which leads to more questions, which leads to more answers and the ability to connect people to the solutions that can and do exist.

Together we are the web, the tribe, that uplifts life.  It is painful at times to be willing to see, but it is also the only way to be fully alive.

Thank you Tiffany, the relationship is just beginning.

In this interview I have the pleasure of speaking to Evy Smith.  Evy and I connected online 10 years ago when she reached out to me in response to a blog I was writing.  We have built a relationship since that time and got to meet in person officially in 2014 when she premiered Love Bomb in Burlington, Vermont.  I feel that my relationship with her is exemplary of the positive power of the internet to connect me to wonderful inspiring people online and then in person.

Evy has a Masters in Health Education and a Masters in Clinical Psychology.  She is a certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist and Certified Life Coach.  She is a lifelong member of the Concept Therapy Institute.  Evy has served as a massage therapist and Thai Yoga Bodyworker which she practiced for 10 years.  Evy has been counseling people from all "walks of life" for over 30 years.  She offers an artful blend of alternative and conventional understanding in her counseling practice.  Currently she is an Employee and Family Assistance Counselor at the University of Vermont Medical Center and has a small practice in South Burlington, Vermont.

In this conversation we explore the feeling of life balance as peace, fulfillment, and an inner harmony that leads to a harmony with life itself.  She gives tips for finding this.

She shares about the power of nature and quiet times of reflection, as well as the importance of play and fun in the adult life.  Essentially, making sure every day includes elements of self care as well as doing something that brings joy.
