Some people aren't quite sure what their Love Bomb is, Mary is a constant Love Bomb and continuously struggles with listening, churning, creating, refining, and choosing which Love Bombs to focus on as her inspirations guide her.

This artistic approach to finding her gifts and giving them as service and vocation has led her to create "The Art of Story Project."  The project started as a public speaking online classroom for women in chiropractic and has evolved to become online classes for entrepreneurs who are seeking to improve their ability to create compelling content by integrating the craft of story in a way that will touch people's hearts and minds.

In our conversation we share about how we find and measure our own success in the process of creating our podcasts (she has two, Pattern Interrupt and ADIO Radio), as well as in our lives in general.

I love also how much she talks about the use of story as a way to look at the Hero's Journey of our lives and to appreciate the moments of struggle and squeeze as much as the moments of ease, as well as to learn the potential art of reframing our stories to a more empowered tale.

You can connect with her directing at www.theartofstoryproject.com

That is also where you can jump on her free "Amazeballz Challenge" for moving forward in life on 4 aspects that can help you step forward in your goals with small daily actions.

More on Mary:

She became a chiropractor although she had originally trained for a career in writing, marketing and communication.  After practicing in Wisconsin and Iowa, she made an unusual choice to serve the profession and her passions by working exclusively in chiropractic college enrollment for the past 12 years.  Mary is currently the Dean of Enrollment at Life Chiropractic College West where she has lead the recruitment and outreach team to substantial growth.

In this interview I have the pleasure of speaking to Evy Smith.  Evy and I connected online 10 years ago when she reached out to me in response to a blog I was writing.  We have built a relationship since that time and got to meet in person officially in 2014 when she premiered Love Bomb in Burlington, Vermont.  I feel that my relationship with her is exemplary of the positive power of the internet to connect me to wonderful inspiring people online and then in person.

Evy has a Masters in Health Education and a Masters in Clinical Psychology.  She is a certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist and Certified Life Coach.  She is a lifelong member of the Concept Therapy Institute.  Evy has served as a massage therapist and Thai Yoga Bodyworker which she practiced for 10 years.  Evy has been counseling people from all "walks of life" for over 30 years.  She offers an artful blend of alternative and conventional understanding in her counseling practice.  Currently she is an Employee and Family Assistance Counselor at the University of Vermont Medical Center and has a small practice in South Burlington, Vermont.

In this conversation we explore the feeling of life balance as peace, fulfillment, and an inner harmony that leads to a harmony with life itself.  She gives tips for finding this.

She shares about the power of nature and quiet times of reflection, as well as the importance of play and fun in the adult life.  Essentially, making sure every day includes elements of self care as well as doing something that brings joy.
