When Good Change is Scary, Keep Going

"You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore." - Andre Gide.

One of the most transformational experiences of my life was sailing out to the open ocean and losing sight of the shore for the first time, knowing I'd see land two weeks later. This was pre-internet connections! Watch if you need a trust the process pep talk, a few new ideas to understand your own change process (pain, discomfort, fear, muck), and encouragement for a loving container in the process.

The Healing Power of Unconditionally Loving Acceptance in a Group

Hi!  It's Rhea and to those of you amazing people who just joined in on this newsletter list through the Open Hearted Life Challenge and Mile High, welcome!  I am so happy to bring you content that inspires, connections, and encourages healing.

To those who didn't just join, I'm back!  I have to say, I apologize for being out of touch for a moment there!  Between hosting the Open Hearted Challenge which a lot of you were a part of, and preparing to head out to Mile High in Colorado to present to the conference, my hands were really full.

It's been a powerful month of healing, landing in the heart, and connecting with incredible people.  The conference in Colorado was very heart touching as I got to be with so many others who are dedicated to touching people's lives for the better.

I presented on three things:  1.  That you are enough as is.  2.  The healing power of "Awe" (getting small to find your big), and 3. The healing power of coming together into an empowered community dedicated to unconditionally loving acceptance.

Number three isn't easy to sustain, but wow is it incredible to create and live in for the times that we can.

We are coming close to the healing container that is the My Love Bomb Program running September 11-November 3rd, and it is set as a healing space for women to come together in total acceptance as they open up to their core empowered truth, finding their unique voices, and giving those to life.

We have groups filling up in Arcata, Oakland, S. San Francisco, Tacoma, Denver, and Napa with more to come in February.    To join one of those, head right here.

We also have incredible women joining in from a distance as prospective facilitators looking to go through profound growth themselves, while bringing the program to their community in 2018.  If you are interested in that path, reply to this email and let's be sure to talk soon as registration closes September 8th.

Thank you for being a part of this greater "You Matter" community!  If you'd like to engage with our group, head over and join us on Facebook.

I'm happy to be connecting with more and more of you over there, and have plans brewing for more fun and connection with you there.

Big Love to you!

Rhea

Are you ready to anchor to an empowered mindset? (My gift!)

Hi There!  I have been recently falling back in love with the audio set I created called "Breathe Love."  They are such powerful tools for anchoring into a positive and empowered mindset for looking at life as it is now, and building life as we want it to be.

It takes so much courage to be in life as it is now when you know deep in your heart you have other aspirations for how you want to be, feel, and do in your life.  These tracks help in that journey, and, I have wildly decided to gift the entire album, for free, no strings attached, through March 14th, 2017.

If you are reading this during that window then hooray!  Head right to this link:

Add the album to your cart and then enter promo code:  MyLoveBombGift

You will get the download of the album entirely for free!

Wishing you love, joy, and an empowered view.

How perfect that I get to be interviewing Jessica Vance during the same week that we are launching the opening of registration for the My Love Bomb Program in Napa.  This is an unplanned grace, as I got to meet Jessica during the Beta run of the program in Napa during February to March of this year.

She is a truly beautiful woman, inside and out, and gives so much love to others.  In our conversation she shares about her own journey of unfolding from the desire to feel a fulfillment of purpose which started as an impatient journey in her 20's of lots of falls, to a patient journey in her 30's from Chef to Therapist with beautiful somatic skills to host a deep whole person listening for her clients.

Her story is an inspiration for anyone who feels like they know they have more inside of themselves than is currently expressed.  She is also a really soothing woman to listen to.

Caitlin shares a story about how lack of self value and self esteem led her to an unethical decision that landed her in jail.  The experience led her to an epiphany around the mental prison she was holding over herself that imprisoned her from claiming her value, as well as the grace of better relationships and actions that come from the willingness to speak from empowerment versus act in quiet desperation.

She now helps other women find their mental prisons so that they can become liberated to "affirm their value in the world."

She is a Boulder based life coach, inspirational speaker and wellness blogger who works with women all over the country. She was named one of the 100 Best Health Coach Bloggers in 2015 by The Institute for the Psychology of Eating, is a writer for Elephant Journal, and works one on one with clients.  She studied early childhood development and the psychology of healing at Naropa University and graduated from The University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism in 2008, where she learned how to work one on one with clients in a coaching capacity.

Get out There and Serve, Watch Your Life Change, with Tiffany Johnson

Last week's podcast broad me to laughter, and this week's brought me to tears.  It's essentially like having a service trip experience right from my home as the depth and breadth of human experience through story sweeps through my heart.

Tiffany Johnson shares about her journey from her career as a professional singer and performer to a volunteer and eventually full time employee of Soles4Souls.  Her story is rich in what happens when we're willing to listen to the innate calling of our soul, as well as the wisdom of what life itself is telling us through the circumstances that point us in a particular direction.

Speaking to her was so poignant for and she shares a story of a woman's life that touched her deeply in Honduras.  She brought me to tears, both in the way that her relationship with the woman was able to ultimately help her, and the plight of so many women around the world who suffer for opportunities like we have so readily available to us in the United States with birth control options as well as the support needed in the case of unwanted pregnancies that are out of the control of the women themselves.  You will hear us talk about how this woman chose tubal ligation that was being offered to her in the village, but what you won't hear is why this is so important.  After we finished our conversation in record mode I brought up a story about a woman I have cared for in poverty that needed this option due to rape that was occurring.  This is when she shared that the woman in her story needed this option because her husband was hiding her birth control and so she kept getting unwanted pregnancies.

This conversation reminds me of the absolute heart wrenching at times complexity of the service that we do and what happens when we are willing to open our eyes to the depth of challenges of those around us.  It is also the power of being willing to do so, as, we might not have the solution, but we might know someone who does.  Truly, deeply, we never know how far reaching something we say or do for another person will ultimately change their lives.

She also reminds me of simply how powerful it is to answer the calling to help right now, because one hand held out leads to seeing more, which leads to more questions, which leads to more answers and the ability to connect people to the solutions that can and do exist.

Together we are the web, the tribe, that uplifts life.  It is painful at times to be willing to see, but it is also the only way to be fully alive.

Thank you Tiffany, the relationship is just beginning.
